Psychotherapy and Supervision
I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy for individuals and couples, as well as clinical supervision for therapists.
Sessions are available in person in Leeds or online via Zoom.
Psychoanalytic therapy tends to be longer-term work, particularly where difficulties are complex or longstanding. Sessions take place regularly and provide a consistent space to think about experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns that may have been difficult to understand elsewhere.
Starting Therapy
If you are considering therapy and would like to see whether working together might be helpful, the first step is to get in touch.
We can arrange a brief introductory conversation to discuss what has brought you to therapy and whether psychoanalytic work may be appropriate for you.

Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy offers a regular space to explore thoughts, feelings, and life experiences in depth.
Over time, patterns often begin to emerge that help explain why certain difficulties repeat or feel hard to change. The aim of the work is to understand these patterns and how earlier experiences may continue to influence the present.
Sessions usually take place at the same time each week and provide a consistent setting where thoughts and feelings can be explored openly.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides a space to think about what happens within the relationship between two people.
Many relationship difficulties develop through patterns that can be hard to recognise from within the relationship itself. Therapy allows these patterns to be explored more openly and carefully.
Couples may seek therapy because of conflict, communication difficulties, emotional distance, trust issues, or repeated misunderstandings.

Group Therapy
Group therapy provides a different way of understanding relationships and emotional patterns by working alongside others in a therapeutic setting.
Within a group, people often begin to recognise familiar patterns in how they relate to others, while also experiencing new ways of being understood and connected. Many people find the group setting offers perspectives and insights that can be difficult to access in individual therapy alone.
Group therapy can also be a more accessible option for those who would benefit from psychotherapy but find individual sessions financially difficult.

Clinical Supervision
I also offer supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists.
Supervision provides a reflective space to think about the therapeutic relationship, the emotional dynamics that arise in sessions, and the wider context of the work.
My experience across NHS services, forensic settings, crisis teams, and private practice allows me to support practitioners working in a range of environments.
